Water Your Mind Summer Reading Program

It's summer and time to Water Your Mind with some good books.  Sign up for our Adult Summer Reading Program today.  Participants who read at least one book per week between June 28th and August 6th will be invited to our Water Your Mind Event on August 3rd.  Come enjoy the conversation, food, and prizes.   So drop by the Circulation desk and pick up your reading log today!

Do you love books but are daunted by the prices?  Looking for a good Birthday or Christmas present?  Search our gently-used books for that perfect book at the right price.  All proceeds go to benefit the library.

Knitting Club
Saturdays 10:00-11:00 am

The Club will go on hiatus beginning June 19th.  We will meet again starting September 11th.

Like to Knit?  Just started?  Have you been doing it for years?   Whether you are an experienced knitter or just started, come join the fun as we learn together.  Participants will be responsible for bringing their own supplies.  Don't know how to knit yet?  We'll be happy to teach you.  The club is open to all ages.   Register in person at the library, online on our events page or by calling 304-325-3943.

Card-making Class

Have you ever wanted to personalize a card, adding a special touch or flair of your own? Join instructor April Puzzuoli as she shows participants how to make fabulous cards in minutes with card stock, stamps, inks, and other simple techniques. Cost is $15 for the make it, take it session. All supplies are furnished. Registration required. Register in person at the library, online on our events page or by calling 304-325-3943.

Crafty Quilters Quilting Club

Knitting/Crocheting 
for the Troops

Craft Memorial Library would like to invite knitters and crocheters everywhere to help out the troops. Knit or crochet a scarf, neck gator, or helmetliner and bring it to the library by November 11th. All items must be black, charcoal, brown, tan, gray or a combination of these colors and made of 100% wool. Click on one of the links below to find patterns and detailed instruction.
