Creating a More Environmentally Friendly Lawn

Wendy Brady, Virginia Extension Master Gardener will explain  the benefits of turning  part of a traditional turfgrass lawn into an area of flowers that will attract pollinators and wildlife.  Participants will learn practical steps in how to use meadowscaping, xeriscaping, and native plants to create an area that is both attractive and environmentally friendly.
