Fax Services - The library can fax documents for you.
To receive faxes, there is a charge of $0.50 per page.
There is a charge of $0.50 per page for local calls and toll-free calls.
For long-distance calls, the charge is $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 per page after that.
For international faxes, there is a $5.00 fee for the 1st page and $1.00 per additional page.
Bluefield Daily Telegraph Searches
Obituary searches may be conducted for those who died in the Bluefield, West Virginia region. If you are not a local resident. the library staff can do the obituary searches for you. If you are a local resident you are invited to come to the Library to do the search. Assistance is available to get you started.
When requesting a search, please include your name, address, phone number, search information, and the maximum amount you are willing to spend. You may request a search by calling 304-325-3943 or emailing cml@mail.mln.lib.wv.us.
The library currently carries The Bluefield Daily Telegraph newspaper, from it's beginning in 1896-2017. The paper is not indexed. Therefore complete information is required to attempt a search:
* Full Name
* Date of Death - month, day, year
* Place of Death
Because of limited staff and the time involved in doing a search, the following fees will apply:
* $5.00 for first 30 minutes spent searching and $5.00 per each additional 30 minutes
* $ .20 per copy
* Postage
An invoice for any fees will be mailed with the search results. Fees may be paid by money order or check payable to Craft Memorial Library.
Public Meeting Room
An application to use the room must be filed and approved in advance. Groups using the room must be non-profit and cannot charge a fee for their program. Download the CML Meeting Room Application. Computers
Looking to surf the internet, type a letter, plan a trip? You can do all these things and much more on the Craft Memorial Library computers!
In order to use the computer you must have your library card with you and have filled out a Computer Use Policy Form. If you are visiting from another state, you may use your driver's license to sign up for a computer. Please familiarize yourself with our computer use policy before using the computers.
